Regular readers will know that ChrisC and I go to Glastonbury Festival every year. Except not this year, because   we didn't get tickets. Demand outstrips supply, and this time we didn't get lucky.

Today was the resale of unwanted coach-and-entry packages. I was in my office with a couple of browsers loading. ChrisC was in his, with a minor army of helpers (many of whom, like him, ought really to have been on a conference call). Anyway, Simon got lucky....

WE'RE GOING TO GLASTONBURY :)

(Of course, travelling on a coach means our new car will remain relentlessly grown up with zero festival passes and one National Trust parking permit.)

;) We'll be banging on the browsers on Sunday morning. (If we _do_ get tix, I have to commute back for a gig in London on Sat afternoon, so coach not even a little bit feasible...)

Playing, yes; the fair concerned specifically invited us back after we played there last year, which is awfully flattering, but last year it was the weekend _before_ Glastonbury ;)

BTW, if you are getting there Weds (which I assume you are) swing by the Greenpeace stage around 10pm for their opening thing, the Big Beat Junk Band. I, er, appear to have volunteered to bang rhythmically on bits of recycling (for which I kind of have form)

We're catching a 3pm coach from London (specifically from the O2, which is massively the wrong side of London if you live in Ealing...) so I sincerely hope to be there by then! We have to meet our imaginary friend at the Cider Bus at 9pm, but reckon we can stagger as far as Greenpeace for 10!

I like fizzy wine and glass bottles are not possible.

I, er, imported it from Germany (it still only worked out around a pound a can). Stick with "horrified", I would ;)
