One: She prefers the night to day
Dec. 1st, 2007 10:09 amToday is, above everything else, the day you might start opening an advent calendar. If you've been playing the Great Advent Game, you should have some form of exciting Advent-counting device - have they all arrived ?
Mine is particularly exciting, and if I didn't have to be out the house to meet someone at 11 I'd be telling you all about it. Watch this space...

And the calendar pages blew
Nov. 1st, 2007 07:15 amWell. It's Novemeber. The clocks have gone back, Hallowe'en is past, it's getting chilly outside and
ebee is hassling the hell out of me.
You know what that means ?
Yup, it's time to declare open season on the Great Advent Game. Said Game requires you to manufacture some form of Advent Calendar and post it to an address I give you. In return, a handmade calendar from some far-flung corner will arrive for you in time for December 1st.
( Does that work, then? )

Please point any of your friends who're likely to be interested in this direction - the more themessier merrier. Anyone who can't fill in polls, please comment if you want to get in on the act.

Dec. 1st, 2006 08:50 amMorning all. White rabbits.
However, never mind rabbits, today is much more exciting, as it's the day Advent calendars kick off. Everyone who played The Great Advent Game this year (with the exception of our German outpost, whom the post has thus far failed) should now be in possession of some sort of spangly home made means of counting up to 24.
( What have I got this year? )
Coming soon, The Great Advert Game for
ach, whose reading isn't so good.

Nov. 9th, 2006 08:40 amLast night, an sms poured into my phone demanding that we play the Great Advent Game again. Does everyone remember the Great Advent Game ?
The short version: everyone who wants to play makes an Advent calendar, and then we pass them round so everyone gets an exciting home-made means of tracking the days of Advent.
I hadn't planned on running it this year, and fear that it may be slightly short notice. The calendars have to be in possession of their users by 1st December, which means that realistically you'd have just slightly over a fortnight to plan and execute such a calendar ?
