Airport, you've got a smiling face
Jul. 1st, 2004 08:46 amCan anyone confirm/deny the continued existence of the Heathrow/Gatwick Tube ? Looking online for it last night, I couldn't find anything about it, let alone a timetable.
The airline bus (the blue one) which now runs has timetables on line (did it replace the Tube ?), but sadly they weren't very obliging. If someone in Oxford wants to be in Gatwick for 7am, they can either catch the 5:15 bus and be late, or catch the 4am bus and be stupidly early.
All of which explains why, by 7am this morning, I was already driving back round the M25, boogying to Walk of Life. Well, all right, nothing really explains the Dire Straits.
I love the smell of benzine in the morning.
