Today's nugget of trivia from The Calendar tells me that March 17th is the feast day of St Getrude of Nivelles, patroness of cat-lovers and protector of cats.

Would've made an entertaining Pantheon addition - assuming the Egyptian gods could've hitched a ride with the Romans... ;-)
