Today's nugget of trivia from The Calendar tells me that March 17th is the feast day of St Getrude of Nivelles, patroness of cat-lovers and protector of cats.

Thats an odd thing as in the Metro today it informed me that today is the 33rd birthday of the world's oldest liveing cat (called Whiskey)!!

BBC Radio 4 weather man today forgot St Getrude (??Gertrude) but commented on the weather "for St Patrick's Day". Any folding money on what he/she will not say on April 23?
