I'm not cool enough for skinny jeans, and if I was I wouldn't want to be

Tell me, o LJ, what are you wearing today?

I have on grey skinny jeans, grey boots, and a fluffy black and white jumper with a panda on it. I'm not usually a big fan of the animal jumper, but I think this one manages to be fluffy without being too cutesy. Also, I like pandas. I admire their approach to eye make-up.

I have accessorised with a selection of purple and yellow bruises on both wrists, and a small blue bruise on my forehead. Rapper is not a safe hobby. As usual, I have a silver 'E' pendant round my neck, and silver studs in my ears. I'm wearing a small analogue watch, because my smartwatch is bust at the moment.

On the way to the office I also had on one of those new-fangled lightweight down jackets that seem to be everywhere this winter. In a fashion-item-is-practical shocker, they're bloody great.

At the time you posted this I was wearing a selection of things that most people would have put in the washing basket yesterday - jumble-sale cream coloured bodywarmer, long-sleeved green t-shirt, black jogging trousers, grey socks - and a pair of grubby velcro-strap shoes as I was about to go and weed/spread compost/relocate raspberry canes and generally get down and dirty in the back garden of Fen Cottage, Wicken Fen.

I'm now, back home and post damn good wash, wearing mid-brown ex-charity-shop trousers, black long-sleeved t-shirt and a pair of nearly-worn-out green socks.

I'm definitely with the don't care what I look like provided I'm comfortable brigade.

There seems to have been a lot of gardening (and associated garb) going on today!

I suspect those of us of the gardening persuasion suspect days like that are going to be in short supply for the next few months... Those of us able to grab such a day with both hands are likely to do so! Today 'tis the turn of my garden, which can be done in my usual (scruffier) gardening clothes as I don't have to be vaguely fit to be seen by random unknown members of the public having a day out!
