It's Thursday! That's, like, practically Friday and thus sounds like a good time for a lyrics quiz.

Simple scoring system: one point for every correct song-title. You can go for extra credit and add the artist if you want, but it will only gain you honour and glory. Please note: correct title. There is a link between all the songs in the quiz, I'm sure you'll work it out.

Responses from my stringent beta-testing and product-development team (or ChrisC, as he's also known) suggest the quiz has come out rather more difficult than intended, but we'll give it a whirl...

Probably, along with the fact that I don't think I've bothered to update my music collection with anything new in at least 5 years... Mostly had other priorities for my disposable income :-(

Nah, everything released in the last five years is rubbish anyway :) (Not strictly true, but a fairly close approximation - I think it's a sign I'm getting old!) At a quick glance, I think only #15 and #21 run any risk of being less than five years old.

I know what you mean about disposable income, though - even I can't spare very much to spend on CDs :( If you've not tried it out (and have a DAB or an internet near you) I do recommend BBC 6music very highly as a way of hearing interesting/varied/new music if you wish to.
