So... Glastonbury. Anyone going ? Anyone fancy meeting up ? Anyone got any recommendations of things I should particularly make an effort to see while I'm there ?

I'm going & would be lovely to randomly bump into you for the first time since . . . well, whenever I last randomly bumped into you! I'm fairly scarce on things I'm burning to see though, to be honest; I do like the Rakes, who are thrashy-guitared indie with arch lyrics and a peculiarly angular frontman, if that's your kinda thing . . .
I have in the past discovered three different strategies for meeting people at festivals... they are:
(a) rely on randomly bumping into people. Doomed. (b) rely on arranging things by mobile phone. Mostly doomed. (c) prearrange an innocuous time to meet at a prearranged destination. Reasonably successful, but requires organisation, hence also mildly doomed.
If you wish to risk (b) or (c), then I don't have a phone number for you but I can be reached at venta at livejournal if you wish to swap. I'll be there from Wednesday night. If you fancy agreeing a time/destination for consumption of tea/cider then suggest one :)
I don't think I've got any burning-to-sees this year either, though I'm looking forward to the Broken Family Band.
