Sleep when I'm dead

When the news this morning announced that Barclays Bank was embarking on a "fundraising programme", did anyone else immediately envisage an extensive, nationwide outbreak of coffee mornings, raffles and fun-runs ?

In other news, a friend of mine is trying to flog a pair of Bon Jovi tickets for "this weekend" (presumably Twickenham, but I don't know which day). If anyone might be interested in buying them, they should let me know.

I was following the pack

Right. I'm about to head off to Glastonbury. I have, in accordance with all accepted principles of leaving ones car in large car parks, emptied my car of everything. Accordingly there is nothing in The Box. Nothing at all (except some sugar, from a bag of boiled sweets which fell over months ago).

Emptying the car means that things I regard as essential travelling companions - say, jump leads, a socket set, spare builbs, WD40 - are sitting on the front room floor. Anyone place folding money on me breaking down over the weekend ?

Just in case anyone misses hearing What's In The Box on Friday, I thought I'd share this with you instead. I heard it on Radio 1 on Monday night and got quite excited about it.
