Where does one find a pot big enough to boil a camel?

Read again, it says "broil" not "boil" :)

Erm...
Skin, trim and clean camel (once you get over the hump), lamb and chicken.
Boil
until tender...
and later.
Broil over large charcoal pit until brown.
I'm guessing you cook the meat first to make sure it gets done right the way through, then broil it for colour.
(in the right place now).

Oops, sorry, you're right.
Maybe you boil the lamb and chickens then broil the camel ?
Either way, the answer is Denby Dale, probably.
(Denby being a place in Yorkshire which holds the world record for the biggest pie - some of their pie dishes are
impressive
.)

Can we get

to bring one back with them?
And I think I'm more scared by the link to the Australian Association...

Surely a camel would float anyway?

Someone - can't remember who - was telling me recently that camel was actually rather nice to eat. Hmm.

Hmm... I tried it once, and found it tasteless and stringy, but that was the Australian variety - maybe the African ones taste better.

I'm not sure a camel would fit in our luggage allowance though.

That's why you need a large charcoal pit. Which apparently can be acquired in Denby Dale, unless I've got confused somewhere along the line.

No no no. The
pot
large enough to boil a camel in can be acquired there.
A large charcoal pit can be acquired practically anywhere with sufficient will and digging equipment. And charcoal.

Perhaps your local trap for heffalumps, when devoid of bears or even heffalumps, could be fashioned into a suitable charcoal pit.

Denby Dale's well known for charcoal pits. They're a part of its rich, Arabic cultural heritage. Or something.
