OK, at Whitby there was a screen behind the bands onto which various images were projected. And a very motley bunch of images they were, too.
However, there was one particular sequence which looked like it would be a scene from a 70s/80s horror film. It was, however, so damn bizarre that I'd really like to know what its context was. So, does anyone recognise this film:
A young, blonde woman is wandering through a house, apparently searching for a small boy (remember I was watching this without sound). She eventually catches up with him, and they stand on opposite sides of the room, between them stands a large, brown horse. There is some kind of exchange between the two of them, then they boy suddenly pushes the woman away, and a toastrack-like structure of steel and glass plates falls from the ceiling, neatly slicing the horse. The plates then pull apart, showing the cross section horse slices.
Any ideas?
Actually, despite googling today and failing to find it, a quick search on "sliced up horse" has turned up that it was probably The Cell, thus rendering this post useless. However, can anyone tell me what on earth was going on?
Pintwatch is happy this evening, having just found a forgotten bottle of Badger's Golden Glory in the cupboard. Did you know that the Badger Brewery also owns the Panda Pops company ? I hope they have futher black-and-white animal subsiduaries. Can we look forward to Zebra Zinfandel ?
