Has anyone else noticed Vodafone reception being particularly poor in the recent past ? I thought it was just the Whitby effect, but things don't seem to have improved since I got back. It's hard to be sure, because I live in a Faraday cage, but I think it's worse than normal. Even text messages seem to be doing a poor job of turning up in anything like reasonable time.

Is it just my imagination ? Or is it just that I've dropped my phone once too often, and its poor little antenna can't cope any more ?

Don't seem to be experiencing any problems. The very reason I went with Vodaphone is that they have reception almost throughout Scotland - not a problem for you I'm sure but it's a necessity on the stuck in the middle of no where front.

Well, assuming dmh is right about it being caused by the sun, that'd explain why Scotland's fine :)

I suspect it's just my phone going funny though, then. The poor thing has had some harsh treatment recently.
