Good weekend. Trains and tubes and nice Italian food and good company and drinking and (briefly) returning wanderers and talking and lazing and shish kebabs and roleplaying and Chinese food and...

...I got to ride on a motorbike. As a pillion passenger, you understand :) chrestomancy gave me a lift across London. And I really rather enjoyed it. As a friend commented after doing CBT recently "25mph has never felt so fast".

And tonight, tonight is St Giles' Fair. Anyone fancy coming along?

My housemate keeps offering to give me lifts on the back of his bike, but to date I have come up with some feeble excuse on each occasion. For some reason I'm really quite afraid of going faster than a man can run without significant amounts of precautionary armour-plating. Yes, I'm a great big girl's blouse.

yeah I had a pretty similar fisrt time motorbike experience myself over the weekend: i think it's the sense of exposure that makes it feel so fast
