Last night, coming home late, I snuggled into the high collar of my jacket as I did it up. And zipped my top lip into the zip.

I now know why "button your lip" is a phrase. Zipping your lip is extremely painful.

Hope you haven't done too much damage. (I'm assuming you managed to get your lip back out of the zip. You're not going to turn up to the next rapper practice with a jacket hanging down your front or anything are you?)

Not too much damage. If you look very closely (sufficiently closely that I'll probably be alarmed and back away) you'll see my lip is... a bit red. Not very damaged at all. Still bloody painful though.
