You know those times when you find something on the internet, and it's an idea that's really silly, but somehow it just grabs you?

I've known these videos were around for a while, but today I had cause to revisit them and thought that - just in case you haven't seen them - I should encourage you to turn the sound up and ask yourself:

Or, as a friend of mine asked, "Why the hell is Matt shitting up the environment by jetsetting all over the world just to dance like a twat?"

. . . and although I did think Matt's dancing with a cosmopolitan array of friends was quite heartwarming, there's an extent to which that's a good point.

It is a good point. Though I think I'd rather have Matt shitting up the environment to dance like a twat than travel journalists shitting up the environment so they can write pieces in the Guardian and encourage hundreds of others to shit up the environment.

One kudo, of course. (Although ironically, I chose that line because of the next one about having their "own little welcome mat(t)", and this morning I realise that it's obviously not mat anyway, it's rug.)
