There are plenty of things I might put mayonnaise in if I were making, but for a condimental accompaniment to (say) cold pie you just can't beat salad cream.

Oooh yes. I used to love mayo and Branston mixed together, with cold turkey and chips on Boxing Day. Yum yum.
