I did narrowly avoid buying an Archos mp3 Jukebox over the weekend. The clinching factor is that it'd take a silly amount of time to fill it to its 20 Gigs capacity, and that's still only about 40% of my mp3 collection.

I am getting a bit twitchy about needing a new hard disk though ;-)

I bought an iPod earlier this year - fantastic. It's reasonably fast, very cute but still not quite big enough at 20GB...

Of course a couple of weeks later the new version comes out - but welcome to the world of consumer electronics.

Harass him mightily, I would. Beat him on the bottom with a Woman's Weekly until he proffers up the tome in question.

And I am basically okay, thankyou. I'm working night shifts yet again, and seem to be dividing my time mostly between Birmingham and Oxford ATM - may find time to potter along to Oxford early next week, but unlikely. If Intrusion is on on the 15th, I'll be there. If it's the 8th, I won't be - working at 6am the following morning....
