Sleep, who needs it ?
Jun. 11th, 2003 03:41 amIntrusion was great - nice to see so many people, and I even won a raffle prize of a bottle or wine. Which got drunk... though, believe it or not, I had trouble giving wine away. What are the goths of today coming to ? It was even nice wine, too - probably because
deeteeuk (raffle prize buyer and (apparently) excellent compère) is a red wine drinker.
However: the lovely comfortable leather collar I bought last year to do duty as a neck-brace when I still needed one is not ideal for dancing in :( It's good in some ways - it stops me doing things with my neck that will hurt tomorrow - but it also seems to have left bruises under my chin :( So, Vengeance came on, and on the dance floor there were 4 or 5 big stompy blokes in big stompy boots, and me in a short dress and posture collar. I've not felt so daft on a dance-floor in ages...
Hadn't realised the club was running til 2 this evening. Then I walked home. Then I got to help Andy put some more furniture in the attic. And I'm not sleepy. This spells bad news for tomorrow morning. My turn to drive to work, too...
Update: Made it to work in one piece after all.
Oh, and I forgot last night: it seems
kissifa has taken it upon herself to be certain aspects of people's personalities which were previously held to be absent. She's someone's dignity, someone else's temperance, and the viriginity of several people. She's now formally representing my grace, so with luck I'll no longer be clumsy while
kissifa's around.
