I was just curious as to which of us was the weirdo. Him for caring, or me for not caring - looks like it's me from the poll results.
I'm not convinced that by not caring you are being odd. Or if it is odd, it's at least a good odd.
I don't care either, but if someone made a request that they prefer it one way or another, I'd try to follow it because they care and it's polite to respect other people's quirks if it makes no odds to you (which I assume is what everyone else generally does as well!)
Well yes, I do attempt to put the toilet roll in "right" way round for exactly that reason. The trouble is, I'm so far from caring that I've been finding it difficult even to remember that I ought to be thinking about which way round it goes in :)

I mean, I'll get it right for a bit probably, but then get confused as to which way round was the right one because I must be doing it wrong, and then I'll probably end up switching and...
No, actually, since I live by myself, I probably won't. I may not even try it both ways round to see if I can actually tell the difference.
