Anyone fancy an evening doing silly things in the Oxfordshire countryside ?

Next Tuesday (June 30th) my dance team, Mabel Gubbins, are inviting all their friends to the Red Lion in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell.

Sadly, some of their friends are morris dancers, so there will be hanky-waving to contend with.

But the Red Lion is really a very lovely pub, run by extremely friendly people. It also does good food; it's not a gastropub, or a restaurant, it just does decent pub food. And very good puddings.

8 o'clock kick off, be there. If you really can't stand the thought of morris dancers (fair point), then go to the Red Lion some other night for dinner.

Well, Tuesday evenings are technically free, so it's not impossible I could drop by and laugh at you. Will see how antisocial I'm feeling next week.

Also, I said to Becky some time ago that I should pop across Reading some time and take her/you out for lunch, and I haven't organised it. So if you do come over, poke me with a stick to sort out a date (a morris man will probably lend a stick).
