Not the kind of thing I usually go in for, but let's give it a whirl: idea stolen from tooth_fairy.

You comment here. I pay you a compliment.

The first rule is that you must accept the compliment. No trying to wiggle out of it.

The second rule is really more of a suggestion: If you see someone you know in the comments, it'd be awfully nice if you paid them a compliment, too. This is optional, of course. But it would be nice.

Edit: I'm at work, I'm quite busy. So I might not get round to answering for a while. This isn't because I'm thinking holy crap, how do I say something nice about that total failure who just commented ;)

Pre-emptively, I'm going to compliment you, then you can return the favour if you want. You appear to live your life to maximize good memories, and minimize regrets, and you have provided entertainment on many a dull afternoon with questions that have made me think and analyse some of my unthinking assumptions about the way the world works.

Speaking as someone who's always gone for the safe[*] option of normal employment, I'm completely in awe of your ability to start your own business and just run with doing something cool. I'm sure running a business isn't easy, but mostly what impresses me is having the motivation and confidence to even think of taking it on.

On a not-related-note, it'd be nice to see you. Fancy an evening out some time ?
