This is what happens when you let people drink port and discuss jelly-wrestling; sooner or later it moves on to chocolate-sauce wrestling, then semolina-wrestling. Frances hates semolina. Really hates it. condign, being a confounded foreigner, doesn't know what it is.

I'm not as taken with semolina, the texture is a bit slimier than a good rice pudding.
