I know how this question's meant to work. The opposite of 'serious' is 'casual', right ? I refuse to do anything serious.
Fortunately, ChrisC doesn't seem to mind being described as the other half of a long-term comical relationship.
02) What was your dream growing up?
Wait, I'm only allowed one ? Dammit, I had dreams plural. At 4 it was to marry my next-door neighbour and run a bakery (I'd make the bread, he'd drive the van). He Welshed on the deal and I had to become a programmer instead.
03) What talent do you wish you had?
Stickability. I'm great at starting things, a bit shoddy at finishing them.
04) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
Nice pint of bitter, please. In a straight-sided glass, for preference, though I've no justifiable reason for caring about the shape of the receptacle.
05) Favorite vegetable?
Er... I'm not good at favourites. Let's say sweet potato today.
06) What was the last book you read?
I'm just finishing The Innocence of Father Brown.
07) What zodiac sign are you?
I don't have one. I was born a Virgo, but abdicated.
I mean, honestly: if I'd been Chinese I could have been a Fire Dragon. But no. Bloody Virgo.

A socially acceptable hole in each earlobe. I'd like a tattoo. If I ever decide what and where, I probably will.

Dunno. Probably better to ask my housemates.

I dunno, would I recognise you ? I believe strongly in lift karma, so try to help out when I can.

I played pool for my college: it's the only sport where you don't have to leave the bar. I now dance rapper: it's the only form of folk dancing where you don't have to leave the bar.

Pretty optimistic, I think.
13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
Ask you to lift me up so I can verify my belief that that film thing where people push the ceiling panel up in a lift is complete twaddle. Unless you're quite little, in which case I'd ask if you minded me picking you up so you could check for me.

There's no obvious answer to this (see attitude, optimistic). There always seem to be much worse things happening to other people.

I may still have a moral share in the family moggy, but not really.

Remove the mysterious red dot on the end of my nose. It showed up about a month ago and is showing no signs of departing. It's tiny, but it bugs me.

Somewhere in the green-blue-grey spectrum.

Tediously law-abiding, I'm afraid.

I'm not precious about my middle name, but given the number of places with flaky security checks I'm not putting it on a website. I was named after a friend of my mum's.

The washing line. Wet jeans take forever on the clothes horse indoors.

Now ? No. At 3am in the dark by myself ? Maybe.

Wander round unknown parts of London (or other convenient place) with ChrisC.

Class B curses, yes. Class A, no. I'm too careless about the words I use to risk accidentally saying fuck when it matters. When at university someone bet me I couldn't go 24 hours without saying "bollocks". They won.

Still not good at rankings things. This week it's been people forming opinions without knowing the relevant facts. This explains why I'm often low on opinions.

Romance is a word I pretty much never use (except in the context of a novel). I don't have much of a concept of what constitutes romantic. Sunsets, beaches, and surprise trips to Rome seem to be involved; my life doesn't contain many of them. I'll settle for niceness and consideration, thanks.
