A few people had asked to be told if this particular configuration of circumstances occurred, so:

On Friday night, I shall be dancing rapper in London. To be specific, with Mabel Gubbins in the Marylebone area. If anyone wishes to come along, watch us, say hello, drink beer, etc they'd be most welcome.

We shall be pub-crawling with (and at the invitation of) Thrales Rapper, a men's team based in Southwark. Dave, who is wildly optimistic, has planned the following schedule:

7.30 The Feathers, Linhope St – dance at 8pm

8.30 Windsor Castle, Park Rd

8.50 The Volunteer, Baker St

9.10 The Globe, Marylebone Rd

9.35 The Temperance, Enford St

10.00 The Beehive, Homer St

10.25 The Wargrave, Brendon St

10.45 The Larrik, Crawford Place

However, sources close to Dave have suggested that this is indeed wildly optimistic, and with two teams we're likely only to get through about 6 of those pubs. We will start at The Feathers as it says, and we will finish at The Larrik (though possibly a little earlier, as their are issues with people's trains home); what happens in between is something which will only be known with hindsight.

I'd very much advise not attempting to join the crawl. It will be speedy and there will be flapping. Anyone who wishes to see us is advised to settle down in a pub and wait for us to zoom by. (On account of the wild optimism, I'd recommend one of the early ones. Or sending me an sms to find out where we are at any given time.)
