That is a sure sign of an Arts Graduate with a temp contract in the Dept. of whoever is responsible for Liverpool's traffic signs. I used to pull that stuff all the time in my salad days...:)

A journalist friend of mine got the local M&S food section to alter their "ten items or less" to "ten items or fewer". He is also an active member of the Aberrant Apostrophe Society.
