So, yesterday I had an email from broadmeadow. In response to my last post here, he tells me that dirth is spelled "dearth". I have consulted with my advisors and, as a last resort, checked in a dictionary. It seems he is correct.

What a ridiculous way to spell a word. Whose idea was that ?
