I don't disapprove of the things you remove

Two days into the bedroom-tidying onslaught and I've found this funny, fuzzy stuff lying about the place. I think it's called floor.

You know that thing you do if you're lazy - when vacuuming, you use the vacuum cleaner to 'pick up' large things from the floor, turning the tube round to handlevel so you don' t have to bend down ? I have just learnt the hard way that cloth items - even quite sizable ones - should not be treated this way when using a Dyson. Blimey, those things really do suck.

Surely not....

...the Whale!?

No :)

Sucky as the Dyson is, I think Monty would have been able to stand his ground.

I now have the Candyskins in my head. And no longer have the cd to do anything about it!

Blimey. Several kudos to you, sir. I didn't think anyone would recognise that one.

HEH. That sounds rather like my attempts- its not mess, simply a lack of available locations to put things in!!! Beautiful will be the day we have a whole flat to put things in and not just crammed both our stuff into Handy Local Mages bedroom and 2 shelves of office. P has a simply RIDICULOUS amount of STUFF and has all the shed too!
Sadly, he'll be taking the Dyson with him...but my mum is such a convert, I'm hoping we might get given one! When we had 2 long haired Parson Jack Russells, mostly white, it was the only thing that budges the fluff build up!

Pah. You don't fool me with your 'whole flat' nonsense. Don't you know that stuff expands to fit the space available ?

Incidentally: cat/dog hair is easily removed from furnishings, carpets etc. If you find a rubber glove (of the ordinary washing-up variety) then running your hand across even the most built-up fluff depost picks it all up. And so Mrs Beeton would have said if she'd ever had Marigolds.

Ever read 'Chitty Chitty Bang Bang'? There's a wonderful scene in it where Caractacus Potts is trying to create a vaccuum cleaner. 'Away with brushing, away with cleaning, and away with dirty carpets!' The dirty carpet disappeared all right - up the nozzle of the cleaner!

This is why there are hardly any carpets in my house.
