So, the clocks have gone back. Evenings are getting lighter, spring has sprung and the world's starting to wake up. Which can only mean one thing. It's that time of year again.

They have. But, er, I refer to it as going 'back' as part of, er, a witty joke which is, um, far too complicated to be understood by Scandinavians.

Photo contest rules clarification wanted: You point out that you don't want random photos just 'shopped into the right colours, but what about coloured lighting - permissible or not ?

Well, as I said on the rules page, someone onstage lit by blue lights is reasonable.

So, er, I'd say that if you happen across something on a stage, near a stained glass window, etc, that happens to be lit by a particular colour that's fine. Setting up your own coloured lamps specifically to light an object sounds just like real-world 'shopping to me :)
