After a somewhat fraught experience of trying to download iTunes and get it to behave sensibly (and thankyou ![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
zandev for the assistance), I've now got a copy of Bam Thwok, the new Pixies' single.
And, y'know, I rather like it. Sounds like the Pixies - but not enough to make me think they've not evolved at all in the last fifteen years. The trademark guitars and slightly spiky vocals are still there, but seem somehow mellower. It's a good song for summer. Though I must admit, while I like the organ solo, it fits rather oddly into the song.
Anyone else heard it, and got any opinions ?
