Attention East Oxford!

One of the empty shops upwind of The Magdalen Arms on Iffley Road seems to be turning into a real place again. Although it's still at the paint-pots and ladders stage presently, its very slightly uneven red lettering proclaims that it is soon to be a Global Deli. The fascia proudly announces it will sell:

You've not been to Tesco's recently, then?

I'm starting to regret my "any misunderstanding for a cheap laugh" policy on LJ :)

Your fatal mistake was not to include a ";-)" or similar at the end of the sentence ;-) (see?)

Further reports from the field

That seems to be taking your research into the working conditions of Cotswold farmers a little too far.
