The first thing I was aware of on waking up this morning was that I'd been dreaming about some very small sculptures, which were to be displayed on very small plinths. I think I was somehow involved in organisation at the gallery, or something. In my dream, I referred to these very small plinths as plinthlings[*].

I have just remembered this, and it has made my evening.

[*] And yes, for those of you who are going to ask, I was doing the relevant gesture in my dream. But in quite a small way, with fingertips only, because it was just a plinthling.

Just to add to the pedantry (since it might be interesting): the line I quoted was clearly from the BB version, since KM sings "I put you on a pedestal, you put me on the pill".

And I'm not sure a lack of minute familiarity with BB lyrics could really be considered embarassing. Or musical :)
