I know, I know, you're right. But they're so... square, so inviting and I'm just WEAK, so very, very weak. I could do another one right now!

Could you embed a poll in a comment ?

I'm assuming this won't work:

Testing, testing
I can see the Box!

Nope, can't be done. You also can't add a new poll to an existing post, or edit an existing poll once it has been posted.

Well, don't look here (http://www.posi.net/software/automata/life-checkbox.html), then, whatever you do. I can't be responsible for the consequences...

Aw, now you're just taunting [livejournal.com profile] _corpse_.

Which is very funny

What? What? Help, I'm losing control, it's like the childproof lids on those nice jars of tablets. I click but nothing, it's futile, I'm infertile, impotent... the world mocks me and the Gods thesleves laugh. Why god, why???

That's crap. The edit box specifically says allowed HTML... <form> but it doesn't allow <input> elements!

That was close. I got so excited I clicked twice and the tick disappeared!

But when my heart rate returned somewhere near normal and I could see the screen through the black shapes in front of my eyes, I was able to click a third time. Don't play with us like that.

New game: Rock Scissors Paper Tickybox.

Rock crushes scissors.
Scissors cut paper.
Paper wraps rock.
Tickybox distracts geeky players and so defeats all three.

PBLJ version: my first go is white-on-whited here for spoiler prevention. Post your first go and then look back to see who won. Lets see whether venta gets bored before we do and bans us. I call: rock.

Ooo ooo ooo!

I call very nice idea but doesn't really work in practice because when you get the notification e-mailed through to you, the mailer I use does not respect the font tag and shows me the raw text instead.

So that'd be scissors, then.

Of course, this will work far better for those playing along at home. Would you have beaten me? Would you have beaten [livejournal.com profile] onebyone? How about beating this: paper    ?

OK, I'll stick with keeping all plays hidden for the benefit of onlookers. We might as well do as much as possible to make this a successful spectator sport from the get go.

I guess the going-to-sleep plan last night didn't work so well, then :)

We've got a new game in the office, by the way. It's like stone, paper, scissors but it's called blame, nothing to do with me, written report. The main aim is to play it with management and see if they notice.
