Really ? How odd. I've never seen one in my (nearly) five years of commuting along that route. And I do look at the sky, because I see lots of Red Kites (http://www.radnage.uk.net/html/red_kites.html).
I think I saw a red kite in East Lothian a couple of times recently. I'm not entirely sure because I was driving and only got a very brief glimpse - it could have been a buzzard, but I think it looked more like a kite.
I definitely see more buzzards than I used to, as well. This is a good thing.
Sure, Multiplas are bloody ugly. But they're ugly in a bug-eyed alien, help-I'm-made-out-of-two-completely-different-cars sort of way. You could become quite fond of one :)
