...the food is ridiculously overpriced for what is, basically, izakaya bar food. The tonkatsu is pretty flabby, and the bento meals that are about the only good deal they have are only available at a scandalously narrow range of times. The sushi is mediocre, at the very best.
Occasionally I feel like Japanese food, and I'm never around when Edamame is open. On those occasions, some sick sense of masochism drives me into Gashi Gashi, but I'm always disappointed. I really find it odd when people like the place--I shall have to take you to some good Japanese places in London. Then again, I keep promising that...
