I've seen it twice (not particularly through choice, it just worked out that way), and closing your eyes for the entire scene in question is perfectly reasonable - none of the information is conveyed visually*, apart from the information you're deliberately avoiding ;-)
* Or at least, none which will later make you think 'where did they say that? I didn't see it' - I didn't feel I'd missed anything.
