...it may be worth checking that your bank still has your current address listed. Apparently another trick is to arrange to ring up and order new cards for a different address (you only need the original bank details to do this, I'm told).
If someone was going to do that, then they would need you to think you hadn't been burgled. Or, at least, that your cards and stuff were safe.
