I seem to recall in the dim mists of time when you plaited your hair in lots of little plaits and when you took them out had the desired crimped look.
I'm unsure whether that's a general "you" or you mean me personally :) I certainly have done that in the past, but in order to wash my hair, plait it, let it dry, take it out again takes rather more than an hour - I need a couple of days' warning!
Maybe I should theive someone else's crimpers and experiment before going wild and purchasing some.
