Dammit. I was listening to the Wildhearts earlier (them being one of my favourite bands and all) and did wonder whether it might be the song you were talking about. But the whole New Wave thing made me discount the idea immediately. I thought you were talking about something that sounded like say, Magazine!
I'm very relieved - I read that you were trying to work this out yesterday, and it seemed to ring some kind of bell with me too. Now I know why - I used to be a big Wildhearts fan too!
I just read your post about the Straw Bear thingy too. I hope the man and the small child aren't going to be still inside the bears when they burn them!
