Break your legs if you stop me dancing

Bloody 'ell, it's foggy out there in places. Admittedly the places were silly little back roads in the depths of marshy Oxfordshire, but I was trying to drive along them at the time.

I seem to have sacrificed a large lump of finger at rapper practice this evening, too. Still, we managed to have a reasonably successful practice, and get a few problems ironed out. Biggest problem of the evening was that the person who was off sick is the one who usually brings the swords, so we had to dance with the spares, which are old, rusty, unbendy and generally nasty. Worse, she also usually brings the tea things... so no tea :(

Update: OK, a very small lump of finger. It doesn't look so bad this morning. Or I regenerated in the night.

Designated Hero of the Week for last week is [livejournal.com profile] davefish. After I'd packed my suitcase, marvelling at how neatly everything fitted in, and left Whitby, he checked the wardrobe and rescued all the clothes I'd left there. Though he hasn't yet told me what the exchange rate of pints-for-garments it's going to be to get them back...

I have a vision of you as a troll, cutting of part of your finger in order to grow it into another troll. Which gives you enough people for a practice.

Unfortunately, I don't get a good vision of trolls doing rapper...

Good grief, no. Large lumps of finger are regularly required - if we didn't smear the swords in blood, how do you think they'd stick together properly ? It was merely my turn.

An ounce of flesh...

Very mini-shakespearian.
