I am - against my better judgement - watching election coverage on the tellybox. Channel 4, to be precise.

And the burning question of the moment: why, in this day and age of modern technology and high-def video, is the audio latency so flippin' appalling? Are channel 4 recording on the moon?

No, ChrisC had the coverage on and despite my professed lack of interest and firm intention to go to bed, I got sucked in.

At that point in time, the coverage mostly consisted of Anne Widdicombe saying "why do people keep going on about the exit poll?" and David Mitchell saying "because we don't have anything else to go on about yet".
