Days of international note

In case anyone hasn't noticed, today is International Pull Out In Front of Elizabeth's Car Without A Signal Day.

International Talk Like A Pirate Day was so much more fun :(

Coming soon, a review of the Fun Lovin' Criminals at the Astoria, just as soon as I find the time.

Oh, and is it just me, or is the Crüxshadows' song Leave Me Alone (aka the one that bangs on and on about "the gothic movement") absolute tripe ?

It is tripe. Much like the rest of the Crüxshadows' output.

Leave Me Alone

Dunno, I've not heard it. The lyrics are pretty duff, but then I've never cared much about lyrics.

Not sure that's the one I read the lyrics of - it doesn't mention the gothic movement at all. But it does contain the line "and I don't want to live in your world", to which I would add "I don't want you to live in our world either".

Gothic movement? Bowel movement more like.

Well, I appear to be listening to the "Shaft 2020 Mix", which has lots of things which sound like radio samples of people talking about "the gothic movement" mixed into it.

And it's those I really object to. The actual song (in there somewhere) might not be bad, for all I know.

Really? I had assumed it was National Drive Big Lorry Very Slowly Down Inappropriate Road Day.

The one on Echoes and Artifacts is the "We are more pretentious than you" remix, which is fairly funny when you stop taking it seriously. You don't want to make the listening to the lyrics mistake with the Cruxshadows :)
