Why not simply wait for the fake tattoo to wash off? In case relevant: after a grown-up tattoo (couldn't resist saying that) I find it takes 5 days before the biggest scabs fall off. Before and after that, I use Bepanthen oil-based nappy cream. Apparently you're not supposed to use aqueous creams while the art's healing.
