2000 miles an hour girl

New skills acquired: jumpstarting cars.

Dinners eaten: a very nice lamb shoulder at the N Xs in Garsington. Red wine gravy, though, is always slightly less nice that I hope it will be.

Things packed for holiday: many, but probably not all :)

I'm off, by the way. Mo's wedding, and then my annual jaunt to Whitby Folk Week. I'm not sure if I'll be online much in the next week, probably not.

Did I say thanks, by the way?

Do you get to put yourself down as DHOW? 'cos you can have my nomination.

...at the N Xs in Garsington...

Would that be the mythical Garsington pub, that is said to be both good and un-findable?

It would.

For some years it had been referred to by [livejournal.com profile] wimble as the N Bells, as he was unable to remember whether it was 6,8, or some other number.

Close inspection (every time we go) reveals that it is neither 6, 8, nor, in fact, Bells at all. Hence the N Xs.

I think I can find it now, too. Mind you, I said that last time :)

Well, that's true, but we still found somewhere interesting, didn't we? :)

True... but can we find there again either ? I doubt it.

It was down the incredibly bendy road called Roman Way. Can't remember any more than that :)

Further thinks: owing to new house arrangements, we can spit Toby out and go to a pub for dinner quite easily (or of course keep him and grab Gemma too...)

*plots*

Actually, I can. Honest! :)

Oh, I can't remember names! You just drive down to the roundabout thing, and then take that sort of right-ish exit, and then drive on a bit, and turn left by that place with the funny name, and then it's on the right. Or something.
