Aug. 4th, 2003 10:47 amWhilst shuffling through the cheapo shelf of Castle Records in Loughborough at the weekend, I met a Mesh album.
Now, Mesh are on my list of "bands my friends like, which I've probably heard at some point, and should look into". I think
snow_leopard had a Mesh album with her at Whitby last April, which I kind of liked (is this right?).
Since this (it's called lowercase) was only three quid, I thought I'd give it a whirl.
Closer inspection, however, reveals that the band is called Mesh StL. But the word is written in the font I associate with Mesh. I've just tried to investigate at www.meshstl.com, but the site pissed me off by having non-negotiable audio. Can anyone tell me what's going on ? Are they different bands ?

Date: 2003-08-04 05:28 am (UTC)Now listening to In This Place Forever, courtesy of Mysterious MP3 Benefactor Number 2, and it doesn't sound in the least familiar! Not even in a heard-something-else-by-them way. Oh well :)
