But if I had your faith, then I could make it safe and clean

From the really-very-easily-amused department:

Arbitrary external door, many floors up on a tower block

A close-up (though a rather fuzzy one, as I only had a phone camera):

Blue door, with sign showing that it leads to the Way Out

It is, of course, the point where the old (and now demolished) footbridge used to join the building on the far side of the railway tracks.

Made me laugh, though.

That is one way of stopping people driving into the town centre - surprise them by a 50 foot drop on leaving the carpark!

To feel the fear before you're here

Now that's what I call a pick up/set down point.

Er.... yes. I didn't recognise that lyric but yes, one kudo for you.

Even when the bridge was functional I never really grasped what the Car Park Reception was.

Place you go to complain when your ticket doesn't work?

That's disappointing. My idea of a decent reception involves a penguin-suited gentleman with a tray of champagne and canapés at the very least.

Lovely. I particularly like the door above the double doors that appears to be a service door of some sort.

Yes! You couldn't see that when the actual bridge was in place - I suppose it must have been for accessing the bridge roof.

Lovely.
