Up 'til a couple of months ago I pretty much only used my microwave for the odd bit of defrosting (which I do with the aforementioned changes in power). Since then it has been all "90 second full power" to heat up a heat-pack, but I'm hoping to get back to the low power stuff evenutally. So I think I need about 3 buttons, rather than the 8 or 10 it has.
