The mirror never lies
Jul. 18th, 2003 11:14 amWell.
Last night I braved the horrible plastic gloves (provided), and dyed my hair. As ever, it is neither as bright nor as red as the box promised. Comments at work, however, suggest it's noticable.
However, my hair being red is not surprising. What is surprising is that the bath is still white, the walls are still blue, and even the towel involved has returned to its original colour. Yay.
While I had nothing to do but sit and change colour, I found a tube of mysterious clay face mask in the cupboard. (An occupational hazard of having a friend who's a beauty editor is the possession of all manner of weird and wonderful cosmetics/toiletries.) It's bright green, so for a while I wandered about like a confused and doltenism-smitten jumblie. I'm not sure my face is any different for the experience, but it was fun while it lasted :)
For those that requested it, a photo will be forthcoming as/when I corner someone with a digital camera.
(And
edling, I'm still not convinced about this Skinny Puppy lark.)
