ventaYesterday, about 12 o'clock, one of our sysadmins stuck his head round my office door and said:
"You coming to Tesco? I've got bridge grenades."
Tesco is a short walk up the river bank from the offices. To get there, you have to walk under a railway bridge which has one of the best echoes I've ever met. DaveK had been saving empty juice cartons all weekend...
So, we went up to the bridge. Inflated the cartons, then jumped on them. And lo, there was a most glorious noise. Repeatedly. And of course, as is traditional, some elderly bloke told us off.
I then continued in the Big Kid theme by trying to jump onto a trolley DaveK was pushing. And misjudged it, and have a very very bruised shin. Which I'm sure will completely fail to be a lesson to me in future.
