It would be a very special kind of person to take offence surely?
Not take offence, exactly. But some people keep their troubles very close to them, and don't want relative strangers interfering.
Me for instance :) When I'm upset, I'd genuinely rather that the vast majority of people tactfully didn't notice.
Isn't the point of the Internet to share weirdness?
