From the Wikipedia page about The Levellers:

"Rolling anarchy" is a trademarked symbol of the band.

A trade-marked anarchy symbol? Um, right.

A little too ironic. And yes, I really do think.

Oh, I quite like it as a celtic knot style thing, and hadn't twigged it was supposed to be an anarchy symbol anyway, but now I'm just mildly disappointed. It kinda sums them up though in a lot of ways.

Well, my reaction is "according to who?"

Wikipedia say so, but they don't give a source. Other websites likewise. I can't find a statement anywhere from the Levellers themselves on the topic. I had a quick look in the IPO's registered trademark database but couldn't find anything.

Of course, someone might have said that, meaning that as it was clearly associated with them as their logo it meets the criterion to be regarded as one, but that's different from the band having taken specific legal steps.

Someone should probably ask them.
